A Day in the Life at Long Beach Port

Links Logistics operates all across the Western US- trucking and warehousing for mining, agriculture, energy, and manufacturing.

From our Terminal in Walnut, California, we’re now hiring Company Drivers to haul Intermodal freight containers from the harbors in southern California and the loads just keep coming! It’s local hauling that allows Drivers to sleep in their own beds. If you want to be part of the Global Supply Chain that transports containerized cargo from all over the globe, look into Links.

Company Drivers earn $16.50 per hour and full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, vacation and 401K. 2nd shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 3-12 Midnight. The bottom line is that we will provide a place where Drivers can flourish.

“The average in-terminal turn time – the amount of time it takes a truck to drop off or pick up a single container – in the first half of 2014 was 42 minutes, up 7.7% from the first half of 2013. Adding the average 20 minutes in queue outside the terminals, the typical single transaction takes about one hour.” -PierPass.org
